Ashley St. Onge was a beautiful, compassionate, loving soul. Her carefree and creative spirit kept her head in the clouds, while her old soul kept her feet firmly on the ground. Always a pillar of support and compassion, Ashley was the friend you could count on, the sister to protect you and the daughter who made you laugh when you've had a bad day.
Personal relationships were the center of Ashley's world. Whether it was dinner around the kitchen table, a friendly celebration or a family vacation, she loved being surrounded by her adoring family, friends and soulmate, Nick. Their positive and loving energies made them kindred spirits and they became inseparable during their whirlwind relationship.
While working as a babysitter and nanny, Ashley found another love -- children. She discovered her true passion was nurturing young minds and decided to enroll in the Early Childhood Education program at Northern Essex Community College. Inspired by the fond memories of the teachers who had guided and supported her in high school at Lowell Catholic, Ashley made the Honor Roll in her first year in the program. With this passion for education in mind, proceeds for the Fly5k will be donated to a scholarship fund in Ashley's name.
A daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, best friend, girlfriend, and everything in between, she touched everyone she knew. Inspiring them, lifting them and encouraging them to fly.
